The task was to research an issue and create a hypothetical brief on behalf of a chosen client. We investigated the rise of petrol prices within New Zealand and the risk it posed to the market. With an estimated timeline of 36 years until global oil supplies would run out, we took the controversial stance that New Zealand should explore deep sea oil drilling as a means of strengthening its position as an independent nation from high cost imported fuel.
